Subway Obsession= Subsession

I eat a lot of Subway sandwiches. Probably too much, I think. But I'm a busy girl and I have the metabolism of a 17 year old boy, so those foot-longs just hit the spot when I'm starving for lunch.

Sometimes I have really good intentions and I make myself a peanut butter sandwich and pack fruit snacks and apples and carrots and granola bars and grapes. And then I usually eat it all before 11 am, and then buy a Subway sandwich because I'm still hungry. I'm a growing girl, okay!?

my one true love.

In September, the five-dollar-foot-long of the month was turkey-ham, which is my favorite one evahhh. So when the month was drawing to a close, I was super sad to see the end of such a spectacular month of delicious sandwiches.

I walked into Subway after getting back from teaching my PE class this morning (we danced the hokey pokey, obviously I had worked up an appetite), planning on getting a boring ham five dollar foot-long because it is now October. I looked up at the menu to the foot-long for the month. I had low hopes. I mean, turkey-ham was my favorite. Nothing would compare.

Shock and delight filled my face as I read the word: "ANYTOBER." It's not really a word. But alas, it meant that ANY foot-long Subway is five dollars for the whole month!!!!!

Thank you Subway, for teaching me that sometimes good things end so even BETTER things can begin. Also, thank you for putting a delicious sandwich in my belly today. It should hold me over for at least a couple hours until I get super hungry again.

*I feel like you should know that this post has not been sponsored in any way by Subway. Although if they want to pay me for writing it, that'd be bomb because I am a poor college student. And I would probably use it to buy more Subway. So win-win right there.
