Friday Night Failure Fun.

Yup. "Failure fun" is a new concept thoroughly tested and endorsed by Sarah and I tonight. This is us co-blogging (totes cutting-edge) to tell our experience through iPhone pictures.

The night began as we hurried to the Wilk to get in line for Divine Comedy (a hilar sketch comedy group for which I bought tickets within hours of them going on sale). With an hour to kill in line, I taught Sarah some aggressive eating maneuvers with a Subway sandwich. Then I bought us both donuts. (I'm a good influence.)

Finally, the line was moving and we made our way to the entrance of the Varsity theater with our yellow tickets ready to hand in. Problem: everyone else's tickets were pink.

Turns out that we actually had tickets for the Saturday evening show. We were crushed.
So then we did what any sisters would do and sat on a couch in the Wilk for an hour watching people coming in and out of a stake dance. We totes would have crashed it but it was a formal, so instead we rated all the dresses we saw as if watching a red-carpet event on TV. There was a Bishop guarding the door of the dance and he was creeping on us hardcore with suspicious looks.

We checked what was playing at the dollar theater, but there was nothing good. So we read the newspaper out loud in Voldemort voices.

Then we went to the BYU arcade in the Wilk.

WE ROCKED THAT JOINT. heck yes baby. After b-ball, ski-ball and an intense round of air-hockey, we collectively earned 15 tickets. Which we exchanged for A BLUE STICKY HAND.

it was awesome. we were well-entertained.
After spending a good amount of time wandering the Wilk, attacking every flat surface with our sticky hand and having a party in a bathroom and playing with some globes, we walked out with the crowd of happy Divine Comedy attendees and loudly declared, "HAHA that show was so funny!" "And remember that one part??" "HAHAHAHA"

I think everyone around us bought it. Ha. Fools.

So then we came to my apartment and watched music videos of British boy bands.

"He could give half his hair to Voldemort and they'd BOTH have plenty."
(Voldemort kick. We've all had 'em.)
The great news is that our tickets are good for tomorrow's Divine Comedy show. (hallelujah). In other good news: sometimes failed Friday nights are more fun than successful ones.

But only if you get a blue sticky hand. It is our most treasured possession at the moment.
