It's like prom but in college.
To get ready, I shaved my legs (big deal), painted my toenails (huge accomplishment), brushed my teeth (impressive), had my sister do a waterfall braid in my hair (okay, this really was incredible, she is like a hair-stylist rockstar), and slapped on an extra coat of mascara, put on my old prom dress (it was tiiiiiiiighttttt. no really, it hurt), and then my "date" came to get me, so I ditched all other efforts. (I use the term "date" loosely here, because we were set up an hour before the dance. But he was great).
I took no pictures...
But Anne and I invented this new game that pretty much made my night. It's called "Mimick the Awkward Dance Moves of Someone Nearby and then the Other Person Guesses Who It Is."
It was not played in a spirit of mean-spirited-ness, I promise. It was a hoot, and I highly recommend you play it with a close friend at the next dance you attend, preferably where people are super into their gangsta groovin'.

i'm pretty sure that game has revolutionized my perspective on dances. in fact, i'm almost eager to go to another! the next thing we need to do is crash some dance where we know absolutely no one and then play that game. also: camouflage. it's going down.
