GUYS. I just barely remembered a dream I had last night. It was intense. I just had a flashback.
In my dream, I found out that in order to graduate from BYU, I had to pass a cooking test and a singing test. Figures. Everyone at BYU seems to be freakin' talented in those categories.
Of course, I didn't know this until the day I was supposed to graduate, when I found myself in a line with thousands of other students waiting to get their cooking and singing skills checked off by this one professor with gray hair. I think it was my old music professor, in fact...
I didn't have a dish prepared for the judging! So I freaked out. Then, my mom came and handed me a casserole dish just as I was entering a very large room with the judge. He picked off the tin foil and asked me what it was. I had no idea, so I told him to look away and while he was looking away, I ate a bite of it. It was a turkey cranberry apple casserole. And it passed! I was so relieved. I had never even heard of a turkey cranberry apple casserole, but it saved my butt!
Then, I got back in the line. After a few minutes of standing in line, I realized that the next test was the singing test. Then I realized that I couldn't sing. Then I sang a song or two, and really realized I couldn't sing. Then, I started sobbing.
Then I woke up this morning, 15 minutes after I was supposed to pick up my sister, with tears all over my face. In conclusion:
1.this was the worst dream ever.
2. Getting a degree from BYU is important to me.
3. I need to practice my singing skills.
4. I'm intrigued about what a turkey cranberry apple casserole would taste like.
the end.

Oh! I hate dreams like that! The ones that are actually realistic and the outcome actually is relevant! The ones about school are especially bad.
I always had dreams about dance though. All of the sudden there would be some issue, and they would need another person to fill in a certain dance. And of course, I would be that person. And I would be thrust out onto the stage without having a clue of what to do. And I would just stand there making up my own moves while trying to watch the others. And it was so humiliating. So I understand
bahahaha. i almost burst out into laughter here in the library as i read, "I had no idea, so I told him to look away and while he was looking away, I ate a bite of it." hahaha. i love reading and writing about dreams. I had a dream last night that our ward decided to play an impromptu game of softball and it was very intense and I felt so much pressure that i needed to do well in the game. Maybe we're having dreams about feeling really pressured because it's the last two weeks of the semester and finals are coming up?
