March Sadness

Lesson learned: when you are about to watch an intense basketball game, don't eat five slices of pizza and who knows how many pieces of crazy bread because when it comes down to the final seconds and they are tied, and you are jumping up and down and screaming your heart out, you will end up on your friend's apartment's floor, rolling and moaning in pain.

Even though tonight's game didn't end the way I wanted it to, it was still a great night. BYU was amazing as usual, and it could have gone either way. We even went into over time, and we got to see Jimmer hit some three-pointers from a mile away.

And even though we lost, we made it to the Sweet Sixteen, and that's pretty awesome.

And even though we lost, I watched Jimmer's last game in the company of some of my best girl friends, and it was actually pretty funny how loud we were screaming and how much we were jumping and hyperventilating.

After the game, I felt pretty crushed, and I just wanted to cry, but I couldn't. So laid on the couch and made Ashley tell me sad things so I could get a little cry going and let out my repressed emotions. All I mustered was a mere eye glisten, but it helped.

Group therapy is very useful in these types of situations.

And even though we lost, Jimmer still looked pretty hot with his chin bandage on.
