Somehow I knew that 12/12/12 would be a good day. You just have to have a good day with a date like that.
I woke up this morning and said to myself, "It's 12/12/12 and I'm going to have a great day."
The first thing I did was go downstairs and sing happy birthday to my beautiful momma!! What an awesome birthday for an awesome lady!
Then I drove to PT, and "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" was on the radio. Um, what a good song. Best believe I cranked it up and sang along. Do yourself a favor and listen to it right now. You will feel so happy.
When I got to PT, the sassy gorgeous receptionist gave me lipstick tips. She is awesome. Someday I will be a diva like her. And then I gave it my all on my exercises, as evidenced by my jello legs walking out. And the sweat all over my face. (Oh wait, I don't sweat, I glisten...)
When I got home, the doorbell rang. And the FedEx man dropped off my Killers tickets!!! Did I mention that I'm going to a Killers concert in 17 days???? I mean, I could DIE. That's how excited I am. I can't even explain it. I want to cry when I think about going to this concert! (but that's not crazy, right?)
My mom and I were running errands and a train came through Warm Springs Rd! Watching trains fills me with joy.
And then we pulled up at a light and the guy in the car next to us was blasting a peppy version of "Last Christmas" with his window down. And he was dancing and staring at me. Please note that I was in the passenger seat of a mini-van. What a gem.
I ate the most delicious piece of caramel apple bread from Great Harvest. And I wore my favorite scarf.
Out to dinner, birthday cake, watching Paul McCartney jam with Nirvana on TV... It was a good day for all the small reasons.
I want every day to be a good day. May the happy spirit of 12/12/12 carry on!
