I haven't been writing too much on the ol' blog these past few weeks. I think it's because all of my ideas for posts lately have been somewhat controversial and maybe a little bit snarky. I am an opinionated person, but I am also very agreeable and I hesitate to invite conflict. Maybe that's disappointing to some, but really, I just want to live a peaceful life.
And that is why many of my blog posts are going to go unpublished! And that's totally ok, right? Right.
Like my blog post about why I changed my party registration after the election.
....my post about how disappointing it was to see hurtful backlash over something so harmless as women wearing pants to church.
....my post about how angry I am when people say God is not allowed in public schools. (Children and teachers are always free to pray at school, and Heavenly Father loves his children so much... he does not abandon them just because there are no school-instituted prayers.... the thought makes me sad.)
While I'm grateful for my opinions and my ability to think for myself, I think I'm going to keep them to myself for now. (Minus my sneaky way of letting a few slip in this post... haha. yup.)
I love writing and want to write things that will uplift, inspire, and mostly just cause people to laugh. I'm on a new mission to find everyday inspiration to write funny blog posts once again! Please pray that awkward things will happen for me to write about....
Also, if this blog turned into Amy's-Opinion-Central, where would it end? In a few months I would be writing blog posts about how why pigeons are the worst and why I don't like Taylor Swift. And no one likes a H8ER.

As much as I would love to hear your posts, I can understand why you're keeping them unpublished! But if you ever want to talk about your opinions in other forums, I'm open!
Sometimes it freaks me out to read your blog because we think like the EXACT SAME THINGS about the SAME THINGS and it's weird and I just have to comment every time and I'm sorry about it.
